PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Project Leader, Mid-Size Global Manufacturing Company

Working in an Independent Consulting capacity, lead 80 client and consultant resources in the development of client’s Global SAP template and the deployment of their new Operating Model throughout North America.

  • Direct report to the Chief Information Officer and bi-monthly reporting to the CEO and his Steering Committee
  • Managed the Program Management Office and the day-to-day operations for the development and deployment of Client’s SAP Global Template in Sweden and North America
  • Developed the Project Charter and all Project Management Policies including Scope Management, Risk Management, Issue Management, Communications Management and Change Management
  • Designed and developed Client’s Program Management Information System
  • Developed and managed the master schedule including prototyping, development, testing, training, security, data cleansing and conversion, infrastructure, mock cutovers, final implementation and Center of Excellence

Deployment Leader, Global Paper

Working in an Independent Consulting capacity, lead the deployment of the new Fiber Supply and Box Plant business models to 95 locations throughout North America.

  • Developed and managed the cutover strategy and cutover plans for a multi-phase complex SAP implementation integrated with multiple legacy applications

Working in an Independent Consulting capacity, lead Client’s Logistics Warehouse Management and Reporting Teams.

  • Led several implementations of Red Prairie’s DLX Warehouse Management Solution and Crystal Reporting application.
  • Developed Production Support Model that managed the warehouse, reporting and radio frequency applications.
  • Developed Project Controls Model that established standards for security, Radio Frequency Architecture, Vendor Enhancements, Code Migration, Change Control Procedures, Instance Management Strategy, Quarterly Release Strategy, System Monitoring, and testing.

Led the development and implementation of several program management offices for several organizations.

Led a 65-person team responsible for managing processes, technologies and organizational change in the acquisition of two global food companies.

Managed all aspects of the system-testing phase for client’s North American SAP implementation.

  • Developed and implemented a strategy for conducting string, component and integration testing in a major SAP R/3 implementation with integration to several legacy systems resulting in a seamless implementation.
  • Assisted functional teams to design string, component and integration test plans and in identifying regression test cycles.
  • Reviewed and approved integration test points, system test plans and actual results as part of the final approval processes to promote to production.
  • Authored training course and conducted training based on the testing strategy for approximately 40 Price Waterhouse and client resources on the project.
  • Developed the testing workplan, established the test environment, managed all system test issues and test problem reports and wrote all executive level summaries of system test status.
  • Led the change, training and cutover activities for the order-to-cash mega process of the refrigerated sales organization.
